VIVO IPL 2018: The ‘Audi RS 5 Coupe’ was termed as “masterpiece of a machine” by Kohli

Kohli has been in an association with the German automobile manufacturing company for a very long time. Previously he was seen launching the Audi R8 V10 in 2016.

Kohli, who is currently leading the franchise team of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the eleventh edition of IPL, announced the news himself on the micro-blogging site Twitter along with a couple of photos.

The caption of the image said, “Bringing motosport to a road near you, this masterpiece of a machine; The Audi RS 5 Coupe. ???????? @AudiIN #NothingToProve.”

Rahil Ansari, the head of Audi India, was seen expressing his views to the Indian Express when asked about the incident.

“We are not looking at volumes for the RS 5 Coupe. Audi is perceived as a young sporty brand and this model will be a main contributor to that image building.”

Virat is currently endorsing 17 brands that include Chinese smartphone company Gionee, Sportswear Company Puma, Tissot watches, oral care brand Colgate, MRF Tyres and health drink company Boost.

Besides he has invested in a chain of gyms which has the brand name Chisel, a tech startup Sports Convo and an apparel line Wrong.

Apart from that along with Puma, he has started his own brand of casual wear, footwear and accessories in the name of One8.
