Australia at the end of the day one is not looking at a commanding position as they have already lost their 9 wickets for 256 odd runs.

The team went to a timid start but gradually when the game was going on it was almost in the hands of the India at the end of 1st day despite of some good performance by couple of batsmen who even were not allowed by the Indian bowlers to carry further.

Matt Renshaw the opener for the Australian cricket team was the topmost scorer for today in the entire squad with just 68 runs which is very low if we see from the viewpoint of a test match, and the man Mitchell Starc is still on with 58* runs but there is just 1 wicket left so we will find it out tomorrow morning as of how they will end up their 1st innings.

Ashwin and Jadeja took 2-2 wickets to their name and it the man Umesh Yadav who destroyed the batting attack completely of the Australian side by picking up 4 crucial wickets at a very quick succession by giving away just 32 runs in 12 overs he bowled.

Yadav didn’t allowed the batsmen to settle down or free their arms that they opt or go for a high end innings that was generally required by the Aussies point of view.

Steve Smith decision of opting for batting in the 1st innings is not sounding that fruitful as should be, the captain scored 27 runs but was then hurdled into the hands of Ashwin and went back to the pavilion.
