ENGLAND vs PAKISTAN, 4th TEST, DAY 1: ENGLAND CLIMBS TO THE TOP IN TERMS OF RATING

England to be the top team in ICC rankings in Test format if they continue their legacy

On the very first day of fourth test England tried to climb at the top position in ranking of best test team in the ICC’s list. Successfully the team gained 328 runs against Pakistan on the London ground. Moeen Ali’s ton marked the dawn of England’s struggle, after smashing 13 boundaries and 2 huge sixes he was dismissed for 108 runs. Keeper Jonny Bairstow completed his half-century striking 7 boundaries, returned for 55 where as skipper Alastair Cook was bowled for 35. Chris Woakes managed 45 runs with 8 boundaries under his name.

On the other hand, Pakistani bowlers Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz plucked 2 and 3 wickets respectively. Sohail Khan starred the bowling area after dismissing 5 of their rivals.

Pakistan started their batting part and Sami Aslam returned to the pavilion after making 3 runs which was the altogether runs for the team before the day ended. Aslam was sent back by Stuart Broad.
