The anticipated ICC 2017 calendar year awards were announced by the  World cricketing body, the poster boy Virat swept the board in most categories., the Aussie skipper Steve Smith bagged the test cricketer of the year award, and the inspiring Afghan Rashid Khan got the Associate player of the year trophy. Players receive those awards because of their performance of the time span between 21 September 2016, and 31 December 2017, world cricketing boy also announces the ODI and Test Team of the year where Virat Kohli leading both the teams because of great victories of team Indian under his captaincy.


Here is the list of the ICC awards:

Marais Erasmus: ICC umpire of the year

For the second successive year, Marais Erasmus won the umpire of the year award, the South African is one of the reliable men behind the stumps, so far in his career has taken over 47 Tests, 74 ODIs, and 26 T20Is.


Pakistan’s CT 2017 triumph: ICC Fans’ Moment of the Year

Last year’s the Men in Green’s win the ICC Champions trophy over their bitter rivals in England was selected the fans moment of the year award by World Cricketing body.

In that final Pak Player turn the table around and outplayed team Indian in every department.


Rashid Khan: ICC Associate Cricketer of the Year

No doubt the 19 year old of Afghan is the best player around the associate nations, last year the youngster has taken 60 wickets, and creates history for the Associate's players.


Hasan Ali: ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year

The young Pakistani pacer has improved his games in the Champions Trophy last year and played a pivotal part in the triumph in England. The youngster has also picked 3 wickets in his five back to back matches for his country in ODI formats.


Yuzvendra Chahal: ICC T20I Performance of the Year

The leg-spinner has won the ICC T 20I performer of the year award, now under Virat's captaincy, he solidified his spot in the team for limited over cricket and his mesmerizing spell against England where he sent back six wickets against them helped Indian to win the series against them in January.


Virat Kohli: ICC Cricketer of the Year

The Indian skipper has won the ICC cricketer of the year award, he has received the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy, he has been consistent for Team Indian in all the formats, last year has scored double ton for team India in Test cricket, and he is the only player who has the average of over 50 in the all three formats.


ICC ODI Team of the Year: David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Babar Azam, AB de Villiers, Quinton de Kock (wk), Ben Stokes, Trent Boult, Hasan Ali, Rashid Khan, Jasprit Bumrah.


ICC Test Team of the Year: Dean Elgar, David Warner, Virat Kohli (c), Steve Smith, Cheteshwar Pujara, Quinton de Kock (wk), Ben Stokes, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mitchell Starc, Kagiso Rabada, James Anderson.


Anya Shrubsole: ICC Spirit of Cricket Award

England’s woman’s team player Anya Shrubsole won the ICC spirit of the Cricket award, where Anya gutted the South African Captain Dane Van Niekerk in the world cup semifinals, where South Africa bite the dust against England.
