Shahid Afridi the attacking all-rounder of the Pakistan cricket team announced his retirement from the international cricket and is one of the darkest moment for PCB
The superstar has already left playing Test matches in 2010 and ODI’s in 2015 after the world cup but he was into the t20 side leading his team and making all possible efforts to make a team a worth watching on and off the field.
The shocking announcement bumped out after the Pakistan Super League match between Peshawar Zulmi and Karachi Kings, in which Afridi blasted a brilliant 28-ball 54. "I have said goodbye to international cricket," Afridi said in Sharjah. "I am playing for my fans and will continue to play this league for another two years but it's goodbye from international cricket
"Now my foundation is important for me. I have played with seriousness and in a professional way for my country."
Having made his debut in 1996 and played his last ODI in 2016, Afridi has amassed 10,645 runs and picked up 540 wickets in 523 international matches and ending up his career with loads of memory and records with him.
He is considered as one of the most successful player of the Pakistan cricket team and has given all he had to the team and for the country, he was one of the gentleman PCB has ever produced.
We will definitely be looking forward for his appearance in the field of sports and we would also like to interact with a player and a gentleman like him.
GOODBYE SHAHID AFRIDI FROM INTERNATIONAL CRICKET
