RISING PUNE SUPERGIANTS vs SUNRISERS HYDERABAD: A PREVIEW

SPORTSLIBRO CRICKET- LATEST CRICKET NEWS

RPS will be taking on SRH at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune  and since we know that it will be taking place in the homeground of Pune, it will definitely be a plus point for the team

Smith is very confident about the team and said that they have worked on their weaker areas very hard and will come back strong in this match, let us see and hope the best team to steal the show in Pune

What to expect: Another hot day in Pune, with temperatures rising to 36; a day game means there would be little respite for both sides in that regard. Both the games that have been played so far in Pune have been high-scorers. Another belter of a track is expected, and with the batting power in both sides, safe to expect some fireworks.

Team News:

Rising Pune Supergiant: Given that bowling has been Pune’s weakness so far, Lockie Ferguson’s pace could come in handy on the wicket. However, Daniel Christian could retain his place in the side. After all, he only conceded 26 runs in his quota of overs against RCB.

Probable XI: Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Tripathi, Steven Smith(c), Ben Stokes, MS Dhoni (wk), Manoj Tiwary, Imran Tahir, Ankit Sharma, Shardul Thakur, Rahul Chahar, Daniel Christian

Sunrisers Hyderabad: The only question mark in terms of fitness that Sunrisers face is that of Ashish Nehra. Nehra had a neck spasm over the last few days and the management is unlikely to rush him back until he’s 100 percent fit. Mohammed Siraj, who made his debut in the game against Delhi, will likely retain his spot in Nehra’s absence. Warner was a bit stiff after a dive along the boundary, but the side is not fretting over it.

Probable XI: David Warner (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson, Moises Henriques, Yuvraj Singh, Naman Ojha (wk), Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Mohammed Siraj

What they said:

It’s always good after playing 3-4 games to have a break. Everyone is rested well. We have trainers. We only came to the ground yesterday and everybody had a good training session. It’s good to get out minds refreshed. – Shardul Thakur

This has been a wonderful venue this year. There have been a lot of runs that have been scored here in Pune, so we know it’s going to be a high-scoring match which certainly doesn’t phase us. We are comfortable with that with regards to what we have in the balance of our squad. It’s going to be challenging given that it’s a day game in the heat. It’s not quite Hyderabad but it’s still warm out there. But we’ve had a couple of days off, so we’ll come out fresh tomorrow. – Tom Moody, Sunrisers Hyderabad coach.
