The South African all-rounder JP Duminy has pulled himself out the IPL and has cited some personal issues to leave this edition of the game

Duminy who led the Dare Devils tam in the 2k15 edition of IPL and went on to score a massive 1015 runs with average of 44.13, which is quiet a blaster from him

He was indeed very disappointed with his own decision of not appearing for the league this season but he hopes that he will be playing for the team in near future with just 1 season of IPL to leave he has not marked the end of his career by not playing just a single IPL

He has proved and marked his presence wherever he has been taken to May it be when he was in Mumbai Indians or now in DD he plays upto the potential and is admired by many of the youngsters as he is an aspiring talent for the nation

Duminy expressed his disappointment following his decision but hoped to play for the franchise again in the future. “It has been a very difficult decision for me to make, but it was for purely personal reasons,” Duminy said on Monday (March 20).

“I’m grateful for the support and understanding from the franchise. It has been an absolute privilege to have played for and led a talented mix of players. I certainly hope to play a part for the franchise in the near future.”

Daredevils, who finished sixth last season, will now be looking for a replacement, as confirmed by their chief executive Hemant Dua. “We respect JP’s decision,” Dua said. “We are naturally very disappointed to not have JP in our midst this year, but as a franchise we clearly understand his position. At this stage, we can only confirm that we will look for a replacement at an appropriate time.”

Daredevils open their campaign with an away fixture against last year’s finalists Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 8.
