WEST INDIES VS INDIA, 3RD TEST: INDIA LEADS THE SERIES BY 2-0

India gained the series on the Caribbean-soil by winning the third test by 237 runs

Indian team on a spree in winning series, the team was able to gain the first test of the four against West Indies on their home-ground and the second test went for draw. Cricket Gurus predicted the third one too end as draw as the game had undergone rain. Slow timing, but to their surprise India emerged as the winner of the match and had the series in their name too.

The second innings was quite tough for both the teams. India scored 217 runs at the cost of 7 wickets. Ajinkya Rahane left on crease undefeated on78 runs, smashing  a single boundary and 3 sixes, Rohit Sharma was padded before the wicket by Cummins on 41 where as Lokesh Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan made 28 and 26 runs respectively. Skipper Virat  had to leave crease on 4 runs. On the other hand West Indies bowlers could not put the efforts they were expected. Miguel Cummins rose for the team by plucking 6 major wickets of their opponents where as Roston Chase was able to send back a single.

West Indies were dented to a score of 108 runs at the cost of all of their men on St Lucia ground. Darren Bravo put a score of 59 runs as most of the major batsmen went off in single digit scores. Marlon Samuels and all-rounder Roston Chase  were send back on 12 and 10 respectively were as Kraigg Brathwaite and Alzarri Joseph, both had ducks under their names.  Mohammed Shami took 3 men from the rival, 2 wickets each for Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja where as Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin are happy sending single persons.
