NEW ZEALAND SERIES TO BE SEIZED BY BCCI AS PER THE REPORTS

Indian team is again on cloud 9 after retaining the 1st spot in the longer format of the game after defeating the Kiwis in both the venues as of in Kanpur & Kolkata.

But the matter to be thrown light upon is that Lodha Panel has written to BCCI not agreeing on the matter of introducing large amount of funds to the various members of the association.

As per the financial decisions taken by the BCCI on 30th September Lodha panel has strictly mailed to the two bank account holders of BCCI namely Yes bank and Bank of Maharashtra as of not to release any amount of fund to BCCI or any given sources.

“We have no option other than to call off the India-New Zealand series as our banks have decided to freeze BCCI accounts. We don’t want India to be humiliated in front of the world. How can we function, how can we hold any games now? Who will make the payment? Freezing a bank account is no joke. An international team is here, and there is so much at stake,” the Indian Express quoted a BCCI official as saying.

“In fact, the entire home season may now be in doubt after what is happening. They (Lodha panel) are only interested in doing what they think is right. Whereas it is the BCCI’s money which the BCCI is distributing for improvement of infrastructure,” another official was quoted as saying.
