In the last year on the month of December he picked up an injury during the Big Bash league after that he hasn’t played any tournament ever since.

But this season he was with the Lions from the beginning of the tournament and everyone expected that he will miss out the initial stage matches for them, but today the owner posted that because of his injury he is down and out of this edition of IPL.

A few days ago the West Indian all-rounder posted his practice session on the social media side and also during an interview he told that he will join them after two or three matches.

Though this is a huge blow for the Lions as they are struggling in their bowling department this season.

Last season the veteran all-rounder picked up 17 wickets for them in his 15 matches.

On this Raina said: "Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the tournament,"

"He had been doing all the rehab but just couldn't take the heat. Would need another few weeks to get ready. We need to have a chat with the management and see who could be the replacement."
