Ramiz Raja member of the MCC cricket committee has questioned upon BCCI as of why they are still offering A grade contract to Dhoni.
Ramiz Raja said in an interview that since M.S Dhoni has retired from the test cricket it is not worthy from the part of BCCI to keep Dhoni in the list A contract as he has retired from the longer format of the game
By keeping Dhoni on this arena it is clear indication that BCCI is giving utmost importance to test cricket which is not fair from the part of Cricket and it may abolish the importance of test cricket in this version
He also said that Shahid Afridi has also retired from test cricket bit still PCB has kept him under the A grade contract which should be permissible in the eyes of cricketing history or any upcoming events
"You have to acknowledge and respect the status of Test match cricket and it has to come from the cricket boards, in Asia specifically. For example, MS Dhoni retired from Test cricket yet got the A-grade contract from the BCCI, Shahid Afridi retired from Test cricket yet got the A-grade contract from PCB,” the former Pakistan opener said.
